The press release states that Zelenstroi is covering the flowerbeds of Ploshchad Novosobornaya in anticipation of the frosts predicted by the meteorologists on May 27 and 28.

It is worth noting that the workers from Zelenstroi had recently planted the geometric flowerbeds containing traditional flowers like cohice, salvia, and cineraria on Ploshchad Novosobornaya over the weekend.

Vladimir Tulasov, the director of Zelenstroi, is quoted as saying, "Responsible employees will be regularly checking the flowerbeds. If Tomsk residents notice that gusts of wind have caused the protective cover to shift, they should report this to the city helpline or the Department of Road Construction."

Zelenstroi has traditionally been the contractor for the Tomsk City Hall for the maintenance and development of parks and squares in the city. In 2025, the total area of flowerbeds in Tomsk is expected to exceed 9,500 square meters. The planting was set to begin at the end of May.
