Carlsberg Vietnam wins top awards for sustainability and community impact in 2025–2026
Carlsberg Vietnam has earned multiple accolades in 2025 and 2026 for its business performance, sustainability efforts, and community initiatives. The company was recognised at both national and international levels, including awards for quality, environmental responsibility, and social impact.
One standout achievement came at the EuroCham Business Awards, where the brewer received the Community Impact award for its long-running clean water programme in Central Vietnam.
The brewer’s commitment to sustainability and quality has been widely acknowledged. In 2025, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry listed Carlsberg Vietnam among the Top 100 Sustainable Businesses in the country. That same year, the company completed an expansion of its Phu Bai Brewery in Hue city. The upgrade boosted production capacity while cutting water usage by 20% and energy consumption by 15%.
Carlsberg Vietnam’s local beer brands, Huda and Halida, also gained international recognition. Both brands won the Gold Quality Award at Monde Selection 2026 for meeting strict global standards and maintaining consistent quality. Beyond business and production, the company has made a lasting difference in Central Vietnam. Since 2015, its *Fresh Water for Beloved Central* programme has provided over 3.3 million cubic metres of clean water to nearly 9,500 households. This initiative contributed to its Community Impact award at the EuroCham Business Awards in 2025. The Minister of Industry and Trade further honoured Carlsberg Vietnam with a Certificate of Commendation. This award recognised the company’s outstanding production and business performance during the 2021–2025 term. Looking ahead, Carlsberg Vietnam has set a target to make all its packaging reusable or recyclable by the end of 2026, supporting Vietnam’s green growth strategy.
Carlsberg Vietnam’s recent awards highlight its progress in sustainability, quality, and community support. The company’s clean water programme, brewery upgrades, and packaging goals align with broader environmental and social objectives in Vietnam. These achievements reinforce its position as a leader in both business performance and corporate responsibility.
