Dario Argento will be present for a screening of Love Circle (1968), a film for which he wrote the screenplay. The event highlights his early contributions to Italian cinema.
Jerzy Skolimowski and his wife, Ewa Piaskowska, will attend the restored version of his 1982 film Moonlighting. The screening offers audiences a chance to see the director’s work in a refreshed format.
The entire Cannes Classics section will honour Dean Tavoularis, the late production designer behind films like The Godfather and Apocalypse Now. The tribute includes 21 feature films, 3 short films, and 6 documentaries showcasing his influential career. The Cannes Classics lineup brings together iconic filmmakers and restored classics.
