Beyoncé Wins Emmy for Outstanding Costumes at Creative Arts Awards
Pop superstar Beyoncé made history at this year's Emmy Awards, becoming the first artist to win the prestigious television award for her halftime show costumes. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which honour achievements in various technical and creative fields within the television industry, were presented on September 6 and 7.
Beyoncé's halftime show, titled "Beyoncé Bowl," was more than ten minutes long and was broadcast on the streaming service Netflix. During the show, Beyoncé rode into the Texans' stadium on a white horse with a cowboy hat, making a memorable entrance.
The Television Academy announced Beyoncé's Emmy win for her halftime show costumes in the outstanding costumes category for a variety, music, or reality show. A team of designers was also recognized for their work on the costumes.
In addition to Beyoncé's win, the Netflix series "Love, Death & Robots" also shone at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The animated series won in four categories, including character design and storyboard.
The "Juried Awards" honor more technical categories, and "Love, Death & Robots" won in four of these categories, alongside other projects like Arcane. Beyoncé also won in the "Juried Awards" for outstanding costumes for variety, nonfiction, or reality programming for her Netflix special Beyoncé Bowl.
Unfortunately, a complete detailed list of all juried award winners and categories from this year's Emmys was not available in the search results. However, it is clear that the juried categories include awards for animation, costume design, and other specialized fields judged by panels of experts rather than traditional voting.
The Emmys in the main categories will be announced on September 14. Beyoncé has already won numerous awards in her career, including 35 Grammy music awards. This latest Emmy win adds to her impressive list of accolades.
