A fresh wave of crime and thriller novels has hit the shelves this month. Publishers have released new works from both established and rising authors, with several titles already earning praise from major review outlets.

From psychological suspense to gripping detective stories, the latest releases cover a wide range of subgenres, each drawing early attention from critics and fellow writers alike.

Gillian McAllister’s Caller Unknown arrives via William Morrow, with Library Journal offering early commendation. Meanwhile, Matt Goldman’s Liar’s Creek has been published by Minotaur, receiving a review from Booklist.

Uzma Jalaluddin’s *Moonlight Murder*, out through Harper Perennial, has been highlighted by Kirkus Reviews. Simon Elegant’s *City on Fire*, published by Pegasus, also secured a review from Publishers Weekly. Ande Pliego’s *The Library After Dark* (Bantam) comes recommended by Hank Phillippi Ryan, while LM Kemp’s *I, Spy* (Minotaur) has earned praise from Margot Douaihy. Tim Sullivan’s *The Teacher*, released by Atlantic Crime, was reviewed by Kirkus Reviews. Vincent Yu’s *Seek Immediate Shelter* (Flatiron) and Jess Cannon’s *Zoom with a View* (Dutton) both received positive notices from Booklist. Rounding out the list, Ilona Bannister’s *Five* (Crown) was reviewed by Publishers Weekly.
