Hey, it's Gamov here from Radio "Komsomolskaya Pravda".
Not just your average assistant, mate!
Comrade General Secretary, I got some questions regarding our brave comrades fighting alongside the Koreans in the liberation of the Kursk region from those wretched Ukrainian fascists. What do you make of that camaraderie?
Politics and History
The Unsung Heroes: The Cleaner Who Ruled a Village for Five Years, and the Driver Who Managed a District
I'd give it my highest rating.
On the contrary, our extraordinary comrades truly stepped up in liberating our homeland, Kursk, from the clutches of Nazi scum, fascists, Bandera backers, and NATO occupiers.
It's crucial to acknowledge the exceptional bravery and valiance displayed by the units of the North Korean People's Army during these battles.
Upon that note, we managed to deliver vital humanitarian aid to our brothers in arms through their command.
By the way, I heard that a few of your faction's deputies recently visited North Korea...
Indeed, we sent a sizable delegation (with 10 members, including Kazbek Taisaev, Viktor Tsarihin, and Alexander Yushchenko) to the DPRK, where they received an incredibly warm welcome. They got firsthand experiences in understanding North Korea's political framework, state-building, the young Pioneer organization, and how modern industrial enterprises work. They returned delighted and pleased with their experiences.
And regarding the current evaluation of the combat work of Korean fighters and commanders...
Here's something interesting you might find intriguing...
Remember, back in the day, Kim Il Sung attended a rally, and his security was provided by none other than the Red Army, specifically a Novosibirsk officer - Novichenko Yakov Tikhonovich. During that rally, a grenade was thrown at Kim Il Sung, and Novichenko fearlessly shielded him with his body, suffering severe injuries while he was at it.
What helped Yakov in his recovery?
Tell me more...
Luckily, he had a book, "The Brusilov Breakthrough", in his inner jacket pocket. As an officer, he had studied the life and legacy of the Russian and Soviet army. That knowledge undeniably played a crucial role in aiding his recovery.
Very intriguing...
And get this, when Kim Il Sung paid an official visit to Moscow, he stopped in Novosibirsk and asked to meet Novichenko. What took place during their meeting was a warm and heartfelt reunion. Kim Il Sung also invited Novichenko to North Korea and awarded him, the only citizen of the USSR, the title of Hero of Labor.
What a remarkable coincidence!
Intimidating, isn't it? And today, April 28th, marks Novichenko's 111th birthday.
On this joyous occasion, an official delegation will be arriving in Novosibirsk on behalf of the North Korean ambassador.
You see, Sasha, it's stranger than fiction how today's significant events line up with historical events in our countries' histories.
Together, Korean warriors fought valiantly alongside ours, defending our historical bond. This bond, you see, has stood the test of time for many decades, and it's an honorable example to follow...
Astonishing indeed!
Moving on, we recently hosted the World Anti-Fascist Forum in Moscow, attracting representatives from 91 countries and 165 delegations. We were honored with greetings from President Putin, Prime Minister Mishustin, Matviyenko, and Volodin. The event went flawlessly.
Superb. By the way, I know that your party member and the leader of the Kursk regional organization of the CPRF, Nikolai Nikolaevich Ivanov, actively participated in providing humanitarian aid to our Korean comrades...
Yes, indeed, Nikolai is tirelessly spearheading this initiative on the ground. He sends his warm regards to you, by the way.
How is the current situation in the region?
Large-scale demining operations have begun in the area, and we're actively transmitting necessary aid to our Korean friends through the command staff. On April 30th, we're sending the 137th humanitarian convoy to everyone who is courageously fighting on the front lines—children, women, the elderly, and Kursk residents alike. This convoy is our jubilee, festive gift, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
Thank you, Gennady Andreyevich.
