Zoomarine Named World's Best Theme Park as Visitors Enjoy Sunny Days
Visitors are making the most of the sunny weather to explore Zoomarine, a popular theme park that has recently been recognised for its excellence. Despite the impending rain, guests are enjoying various attractions, including shows and water activities, before the park closes for maintenance in December.
Zoomarine, located in the Algarve region of Portugal, has been honoured with multiple awards. It was named the 'World’s Best Theme Park' at the World Luxury Travel Awards and received the 'Best Family Experience' title for the second time at the Remarkable Venue Awards. Over 1.6 million public votes were cast in Zoomarine's favour.
The park, which typically attracts over 600,000 visitors annually, will close for maintenance and refurbishments in December and is expected to reopen in spring next year. During the off-season, Zoomarine operates five days a week, keeping some water attractions open to cater to both local and tourist visitors. Themed events, such as Halloween, also help draw crowds during this period.
