Zombie Worlds Collide: *The Walking Dead* Joins *World War Z* in 2026 DLC
A crossover DLC between World War Z and The Walking Dead will launch in January 2026. Developed by Saber Interactive, the expansion brings iconic marvel characters from the zombie series into the fast-paced shooter. Players can expect new challenges, weapons, and a story spread across three chapters in familiar Walking Dead settings.
The DLC features four key cartoon characters from The Walking Dead: Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Negan. Each arrives with their signature weapon—Rick’s revolver, Daryl’s crossbow, Michonne’s katana, and Negan’s barbed-wire bat, Lucille.
The DLC introduces new weapons, enemies, and a three-chapter narrative tied to The Walking Dead universe. Players on consoles and PC will be able to experience the crossover when it arrives next January. The expansion aims to blend the survival-horror tone of The Walking Dead with the chaotic action of World War Z.
