Zhuldyz Abdukarimova opens up about family, art and life's purpose

Kazakh actress Zhuldyz Abdukarimova has opened up about her life, family, and creative journey in a recent interview. The wife of renowned singer Kairat Nurtas reflected on her current experiences, describing this period as particularly bright and meaningful. Despite her calm demeanour, she remains thoughtful about the future and the responsibilities that come with her success. Abdukarimova's personal life is flourishing alongside her career. Her youngest daughter, Rabia Sultan, has started walking and is growing more active each day. At home, warmth and kindness fill the space as friends and well-wishers continue to visit, offering blessings and support.

Professionally, she sees her achievements not as gifts but as obligations—to art and to society. She believes talent, hard work, and luck bring a duty to produce meaningful work. Recently, she engaged with her followers by asking what their reflections reveal and what concerns them most. Her husband, Kairat Nurtas, has also made strides in his artistic career over the past five years. Between 2021 and 2026, he released albums like *Qazaqstar* (2022) and *Merey* (2024), blending traditional Kazakh sounds with modern pop and electronic music. His major concerts in Astana and Almaty (2023–2025) included a sold-out arena tour in 2025, while collaborations with Turkish and Russian artists expanded his reach. Despite her accomplishments, Abdukarimova stays grounded. She acknowledges there is still much to do in the world of art and avoids rushing to conclusions about her journey.

Abdukarimova's reflections highlight a balance between personal joy and professional dedication. Her family life thrives, while her creative ambitions push her forward. For now, she remains focused on the work ahead, viewing each step as part of a larger commitment to art and those who support her.
