Storm "Zeynep" hit parts of Germany, including the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district, causing significant challenges for local fire departments. These brave men and women were at the forefront of emergency response efforts, dealing with the impacts of the storm such as fallen trees, flooding, and damage to infrastructure.

The fire department deployments initiated by the control center were distributed among the district's municipalities as follows: Dormagen, Grevenbroich, Jüchen, Kaarst, Korschenbroich, Meerbusch, Neuss, Rommerskirchen.
Kreisdirektor Dirk Brügge gained a personal impression of the operations at the control center, which had deployed additional staff before the storm, proving beneficial in processing calls and forwarding deployments to the fire departments. The control center alerted the fire departments in the district a total of 335 times due to the storm, up to Saturday evening.
Thankfully, there have been no injuries reported due to storm "Zeynep". The control center will continue to operate in storm mode due to gusts from the storm.
