This time, MagentaTV is leading the way with overall responsibility for the event. Being Deutsche Telekom's offering, the platform blend classic linear TV with streaming services for exclusive content - and they're teaming up with none other than ZDF for the implementation of the TV prize! 🤝️
Curious about who calls the shots? Well, the jury changes annually, but the last time the TV prize gala was aired on ZDF was in 2022. Last year it was ARD's turn. The award also receives support from RTL, Sat.1, ZDF, and Deutsche Telekom. Streaming providers including Disney+, Netflix, and Prime Video join forces as partners, making it a star-studded event! 🌟️
Now, who's judging the stars? Unfortunately, we couldn't get our hands on this year's jury roster just yet. But don't worry, we'll keep you posted once it's announced!
Just like in years past, the festivities are spread out over two evenings to keep things uncluttered. The Night of Creatives, a smaller, more intimate event honoring prominent industry figures who usually work behind the scenes, will take place a day before the big TV gala - both in cool Cologne! 🎉️
