"ZDF is filming 'Unsolved XY' in the ancient town center"
Next Wednesday, July 9th, the popular German crime series Aktenzeichen XY ungelöst will be filming in the heart of Ingolstadt's old town. The film crew has chosen the street section Am Bachl/Am Münzbergtor as their location for the day.
To accommodate the filming, various no-parking zones will be set up for production and film vehicles in the expanded street section (Schloßlände to Am Münzbergtor and from Münzbergstraße to Egelseestraße). Access and passage for public traffic will be closed from 5 pm on the day of filming.
The production company has promised to make quieter recordings possible before 10 pm, but the noise level may be higher than usual during the filming period. Rest assured, there will be no danger from open fire or smoke at any time, as the equipment will use fog machines to create smoke.
The filming will take place in the evening hours, with filming expected to begin around 7 pm and end around 3 am on July 9th. Pedestrians will always have access to their homes during the filming.
Residents of the area were informed about the filming project by the production company via a letter delivered to their mailboxes on Friday. The series, dedicated to solving unsolved crimes, will bring an exciting atmosphere to the old town.
If you are in or near Ingolstadt, it’s best to expect some local traffic disruptions on that day and to follow any official instructions or detours announced by the city or event organizers. We look forward to seeing the results of this exciting filming event!
