ZDF-Fernsehgarten Finale: Barbara Schöneberger's Prank on Andrea Kiewel

The last regular episode of 'ZDF-Fernsehgarten' in 2025 ended with a bang, as host Barbara Schöneberger played a prank on her colleague Andrea Kiewel. The Oktoberfest special took a surprising turn when Schöneberger teased Kiewel with joke announcements and messages on Lebkuchen hearts.

The prank began with Schöneberger's joke announcements, but it was the messages on the Lebkuchen hearts that really got Kiewel's attention. Even the server at the stand joined in, presenting Kiewel with a heart that read 'Rather a plum than a kiwi'. The message 'Kiwi: Potato in a fur coat' particularly upset Kiewel, who responded with a surprised 'So, I look like a fat potato in a fur coat?'

Kiewel didn't stop at the heart messages. She also received gingerbread hearts with harsh messages instead of the usual loving ones. One heart read 'I was at the ZDF-Fernsehgarten and all I got was this lousy heart', while another said 'You're admired today, but only by yourself'. The prank reached its climax when Barbara Schöneberger stormed onto the stage to confess her involvement, revealing it to be a 'Verstehen Sie Spaß?' prank.

Andrea Kiewel, known for her cheerful demeanor in the 'ZDF-Fernsehgarten', found herself on the receiving end of a cruel TV message during the grand finale of her show. Despite the harsh messages, Kiewel took it in stride, showing her professionalism and good humor.
