Zach Bryan, country musician and loyal Eagles supporter, declares he will forever avoid performing in Kansas City, in a feud with Chiefs fans
Country singer Zach Bryan, a Grammy winner, has vowed never to perform in Kansas City again following a heated online feud with Kansas City Chiefs fans. The conflict began when Bryan, a vocal Philadelphia Eagles supporter, taunted Chiefs fans on social media following the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX victory over the Chiefs in early 2025.
The comment, "Where are all the three-peat people from last year," sparked a wave of angry responses from Chiefs fans defending their team and criticizing Bryan for targeting their fanbase. In response, Bryan declared on the social media platform X that he would "never play in Kansas City," explaining that performing there would lead to taunting from fans during his shows.
Bryan has performed in Kansas City multiple times before, including in 2021, 2023, and 2024. However, his vow is a recent development tied directly to this feud and his strong NFL team allegiance. Despite his stance, Bryan has expressed affection for nearby Bonner Springs, suggesting he might perform there instead.
The feud escalated after a fan accused Bryan of singling out the Chiefs fanbase. Bryan has been involved in this feud for months, with the NFL regular season less than three weeks away. The Philadelphia Eagles will visit Kansas City on September 14, in the marquee matchup of Week 2. The last time the Eagles and Chiefs met, Philadelphia won, 40-22, in New Orleans on February 9, denying Kansas City a third consecutive title.
Meanwhile, Bryan is scheduled to perform at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco on a future date. Some Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions supporters may attend his concerts in South Bend, Indiana, and Ann Arbor, Michigan, in September. Bryan is also slated to perform in other cities, including South Bend and Ann Arbor, and Arrowhead Stadium remains the workplace of three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce.
In a different development, Prince Harry, Meghan, and Netflix have extended their partnership for streaming programs. Bryan's disdain for the Chiefs does not seem to impact his choice to play before fans of other NFC rivals.
