Zabaykalsky Krai's Mikhail Yaskovich Wins All-Russian Volleyball Tournament for Sports Veterans

Mikhail Yaskovich, a volleyball player from Zabaykalsky Krai, has added another title to his impressive list of achievements. The Ministry of Sports of Zabaykalsky Krai announced Yaskovich's victory in the All-Russian competition held in Vitiazovo, Krasnodar Krai, through its Telegram channel.

Yaskovich's team in the 40+ age category dominated the tournament, winning all their matches 2-0. Sixty-three teams participated in the competition, making Yaskovich's victory all the more remarkable.

This is not the first time Yaskovich has tasted success on the international stage. He has won two silver medals at world championships, one in Bulgaria and one in Belarus. He also became world champion with the "Reform" team from Volgodonsk. Yaskovich also won a bronze medal at the tournament in Rio de Janeiro.

In addition to his success in indoor volleyball, Yaskovich is also a beach volleyball champion. He won the Far Eastern Federal District championship in beach volleyball. He also won a silver medal at the Russian championship.

The All-Russian volleyball tournament for sports veterans was held from September 2 to 8 in Krasnodar Krai. The competition was for veteran athletes, providing a platform for players over the age of 40 to showcase their skills and compete against the best in the country.

Yaskovich's last title in the 40+ age category was at the World Championship in Reform with a team from Zabaykalsky Krai. He plays in the top league of volleyball and continues to be a force to be reckoned with on the court.
