Yvonne Sampson, famous sports commentator, announces new addition to family, possibly leading to on-screen adjustments for certain television personalities.

Fox Sports NRL presenter Yvonne Sampson and her husband Chris O'Keefe, a former Channel Nine star, are swimming in joy as they prepare for the arrival of their second child. Their two-year-old son, Henry, is just about to get a promotion to an older brother.

"Henry's about to be a big brother any day now, and we're ecstatic," Chris told News Corp. The happy couple has managed to keep the news under wraps until now, despite some of Yvonne's colleagues suspiciously noticing something amiss during the NRL's season-opening matches in Las Vegas.

"Let's just say when Vonny locked herself in her hotel room for round one, a few of her colleagues started to suspect something was up," Chris said. However, they managed to keep it a secret, valuing their privacy.

Yvonne is an exceptional mother, not just the heart but the brains, legs, arms, and everything else of their home. According to Chris, Henry adores his mother, and watching them together fills him with happiness. As for the baby's support in sports, Chris confirmed that, just like Henry, the new arrival will be a diehard Dragons fan.

The couple had been dating for more than three years after meeting in the Channel Nine Brisbane newsroom. They announced their engagement in 2017 and exchanged vows in 2018. Yvonne welcomed Henry in 2022. Fox Sports are planning to make changes in their match-day roster due to Yvonne's upcoming maternity leave. Braith Anasta, host of NRL 360, is shifting from Sunday Ticket to host the Super Saturday show. Lara Pitt will fill in for Fridays' 6pm and 8pm games, and Jake Duke has been promoted to host Sunday Ticket.

The couple's pregnancy has been a buzz in media outlets like "Saint, Sinner, Shoosh" and other sports news platforms, although specific details about the announcement are scarce, as they prefer to keep their personal lives private.

"In the midst of their joyful expansion, Chris and Yvonne shared with News Corp, 'We're looking forward to Henry becoming a big brother,' excitedly anticipating the arrival of their second child."

"Adding a new member to their family, who will undoubtedly be a diehard Dragons fan like Henry, might mean changes in Yvonne's sports broadcasting schedule, with Fox Sports preparing for her maternity leave."
