The four-time German champions, EHC Red Bull Munich, have welcomed a promising new addition to their roster: 21-year-old Matthias Bittner, a goalkeeper for the German U20 national team. Krefeld Pinguins were previously his home, but now it's time for Munich to unveil his talents.

Bittner's journey didn't end at the Krefeld Penguins, though. He also garnered experience in the DEL and DEL2 leagues, with a stint at Füchse Duisburg in the Oberliga. Sadly, precise statistics for his performances in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) since joining EHC Red Bull München aren't readily available. His past records include playing 21 matches in the DEL2 for the Penguins and 20 games in the Oberliga for the Füchse Duisburg.

Patrick Dallaire, the goaltending coach for EHC Red Bull Munich, spoke highly of Bittner: "Matthias is a gifted young goaltender with enormous potential, yearning to further his athletic journey. He's itching to advance in his career." With this signing, Munich has boosted their roster, attracting three goalies for the upcoming season: Bittner, Mathias Niederberger, and Simon Wolf.
