youth soccer team KSC U19 builds anticipation for the forthcoming final match against Bremen, aspiring to lift the trophy.

In a historic moment for the Karlsruher Sport-Club (KSC), the club's Under-19 team will face SV Werder Bremen in the DFB-Pokal final on May 23, 2025. The match, set to kick off at 6 pm in the Karl-Liebknecht-Stadion in Potsdam, promises to be an exciting spectacle.

Approximately 1,800 tickets have been sold to KSC fans, with around 5,800 tickets already sold in advance, according to organizational leader Pascal Huber. The event will be broadcast live on various TV channels.

Huber is optimistic about the team's morale, noting that many KSC officials will be traveling to the final. This strong club identification with the Under-19 team is a testament to the team's outstanding performance throughout the season.

Head coach Christian Eichner also plans to attend the final, expressing his pride in the team's achievements. Eichner values the training partnership with the German Football Association (NLZ), maintaining good relations with them.

The team has been inactive since late April, having been eliminated in the round of 16 of the German A-Junior Championship. They sought to maintain their rhythm with a test match against Mainz last weekend, ultimately losing 0:1. Nonetheless, the defeat might serve as a positive omen for a strong final performance.

The departure for Berlin is scheduled for Thursday morning at 5:30 am by bus. The squad will follow a normal training routine until then, with a final training session in the afternoon on the day of the match. The DFB-Bankett for the final participants will take place the evening before the match, serving as a memorable experience for the young players.

The qualification for the final is the result of years of consistent work in the youth academy, as noted by Huber. He recognizes that it will be an open contest, with the team in better form determining the outcome.

Two key players, Rafael Pinto Pedrosa and Louey Ben Farhat, are dealing with minor injuries and their participation is uncertain. Ben Farhat has been ruled out with a torn ligament, while Pedrosa's participation is yet to be confirmed due to a slight muscle issue.

The trophy presentation will take place before the kick-off of the men's final at the Olympic Stadium, guaranteeing goosebumps for the young players involved.

The Karlsruher Sport-Club (KSC) Under-19 team, having qualified for the DFB-Pokal final, will likely demonstrate their exceptional form in the European leagues when they face SV Werder Bremen in the championship. In addition, the Under-19 team might make a significant impact in the Champions-League competition should they continue their impressive run.
