Youth Leader of BJP Yuva Morcha brutally murdered in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra
In a shocking incident that has left the community in mourning, the vice-president of the BJP Yuva Morcha's Thane unit, Prafulla Tangdi, and his cousin Tejas Tangdi were fatally attacked by unidentified individuals. The attack occurred near the Kharbav-Chinchoti Road in Khardi village, Bhiwandi taluka, on Monday night.
Prafulla Tangdi, aged 40, and Tejas Tangdi, 20, were leaving their real estate firm JDT Enterprises' office at the time of the attack. According to the local youth who found Prafulla lying in a pool of blood on the side of the road, he was not motionless when found and was rushed to the Spectrum Hospital in Anjur Phata. However, both victims were later declared dead at the hospital.
The police suspect that Tangdi had disputes with several people over real estate dealings and that someone with a long-standing enmity might have attacked. Umesh Tangdi, the elder brother of the deceased BJP Yuva Morcha leader, was at home when informed about the attack.
The attackers used swords and knives in the attack, and the bodies of Prafulla Tangdi and Tejas Tangdi have been sent for postmortem at the Swargiya Indira Gandhi Sub-District Hospital. The police are actively reviewing CCTV footage and gathering technical data from the crime scene to identify and apprehend the attackers.
No arrests have been made in connection with the attack as of the time of the article. The police have appealed to the public for any information that could assist in the case. The current status of the investigation involves a joint probe by the Bhiwandi Taluka Police and the Crime Branch.
