Cossack Youth Rally Planned in Chita, Zabaykalsky Krai

A Cossack youth rally is scheduled to take place in Chita, Zabaykalsky Krai, with over 100 young representatives from the region and Buryatia expected to attend in October. The event, organized by the Zabaykalsky Cossack Host, was announced at a meeting of the regional working group on Cossack affairs.

According to Artem Tugolukov, deputy ataman of the Zabaykalsky Cossack Host for patriotic education and youth work, the rally will focus on promoting traditional Cossack values such as patriotism, cultural heritage, physical fitness, and loyalty to the Russian state. It is expected to include discussions on history, military-patriotic education, and community service, as well as opportunities for participants to share their achievements in the field of patriotic education.

Invited guests for the rally include representatives of the All-Russian Cossack Society, the VOIN center from Kalmykia, the Volga Host, volunteers providing humanitarian aid from the Zabaykalsky Cossack Host, and the Association of Student Patriotic Clubs "I Am Proud".

In addition to the rally, the activities of the Zabaykalsky Cossack Host were discussed in the meeting of the working group on Cossack affairs. It was noted that 19 out of 24 societies in the Zabaykalsky region have been included in the state register of Cossack societies. However, the remaining societies must complete the registration process by November 1.

Over 50 Cossacks have participated in maintaining order in the first half of the year, and ten volunteer people's patrols were created, with over 90 Cossack society members participating in 42 border duty shifts. The Cossack societies were advised to increase their activity in maintaining public order and to focus on protecting state borders.

The exact date for the rally has not been specified, but it is reported on the official website of Zabaykalsky Krai. Further details about the specific agenda or official statements for the rally are yet to be released, so checking official local government or Cossack organization websites, social media channels, or local news outlets for Zabaykalsky Krai would be advisable for those seeking more information.
