Youth Football Day in Kaltenlengsfeld Concludes Summer Holidays with Exciting Matches

The small town of Kaltenlengsfeld recently played host to a memorable Youth Football Day, organised by SV Wacker and RSV Fortuna Kaltennordheim. The event, which marked the end of the summer holidays for young players, was filled with thrilling matches and a lively atmosphere.

The day's events kicked off with the F-juniors tournament, featuring 7 to 8-year-old boys and girls. Teams from RSV Fortuna Kaltennordheim, SG Hümpfershausen-Schwallunge, and TSV Blau-Weiss Helmershausen participated, with RSV securing a win against Schwallunge's team with a score of 10:2.

Simultaneously, the B-juniors' match, featuring 15 to 16-year-olds, saw Kaltennordheim's team secure a 4:0 win against FSV Diedorf. Meanwhile, SG Hümpfershausen-Schwallunge won their match against Helmershausen's youth team with a resounding score of 12:1.

The D-juniors match was another highlight of the day, with RSV Fortuna emerging victorious against SG Kalten Rhön with a score of 5:2.

Throughout the day, spectators, including parents and grandparents, cheered from the sidelines, creating a vibrant and supportive environment. SV Wacker provided food and drinks for everyone, with fries, hot dogs, fresh grilled food, coffee, cake, and ice cream sold out by the end of the day.

Dominik Strauch, a board member of SV Wacker, reflected on the successful weekend, expressing his satisfaction with the turnout and the spirit of camaraderie that filled the day.

The event concluded with Kaltennordheim's team winning their first match against Helmershausen with a score of 13:0.
