Youth Boxing Group Dietzenbach Claims Bronze at the German U19 Boxing Championship

In the heart of Dietzenbach, a small town in Germany, a unique community project is making a significant impact on the lives of young people. The Dietzenbach Boxing Project, a collaboration between the Sports Club Dietzenbach e.V., the Dietzenbach Police, and local authorities, aims to provide recognition, community, and prospects for young people through sport and targeted support.

One shining example of the project's success is Abram Khokhar, a 19-year-old boxer who recently won the bronze medal at the German U19 Boxing Championship in Wismar. Abram's sporting success is a testament to the years he has spent in a structured, socially effective program at the Dietzenbach Boxing Project.

Abram started training at the project when he was just 11 years old and has been under the guidance of his trainer, Hossein Mehranfard, ever since. Hossein emphasises Abram's discipline, heart, and sporting talent, attributes that have undoubtedly contributed to his achievements.

Abram views his success as confirmation that one can make it despite difficult circumstances. He is not only focused on his own progress but also aims to help others find their way. In September, he will begin an apprenticeship, and he is also preparing for the trainer's course, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community that has supported him.

First City Councilor and Social Affairs Director René Bacher praises the Dietzenbach Boxing Project's impact. He believes that Abram's story demonstrates what's possible with holistic support for young people. The project offers more than just boxing training. It provides homework help, support in finding apprenticeships, job application training, personal guidance with social problems, and community activities.

Participation in the Dietzenbach Boxing Project is tied to a simple rule: "No violence - no drugs." This commitment to a safe and supportive environment is a fundamental aspect of the project's mission to promote positive development.

René Bacher encourages everyone to drop by, join a training session, or try it out at the Dietzenbach Boxing Project. The project is open to all interested youth, and it offers opportunities beyond just boxing, including apprenticeships and a trainer's course.

The Dietzenbach Boxing Project's aim to provide recognition, community, and prospects remains consistent. Through sport and targeted assistance, it is making a real difference in the lives of young people in Dietzenbach.

The Dietzenbach Police and Abram, a successful boxer, both find a common ground in the Dietzenbach Boxing Project, which not only provides sports training but also offers support in academics, finding jobs, and addressing social issues. Abram, having started training at the project at the age of 11, now aims to help others find their way, just like the project has helped him.
