Younger and Younger Delinquents: An Update on Rising Youth Violence
Things are heating up in Neuss. Over the weekend, a shocking event unfolded on a local football field that's left residents rattled. On Saturday, October 22nd, between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM, two teenagers faced an assault by an unexpected aggressor. The attacker, a 15-year-old flaunting a burning torch, singed one victim's jersey and the hood of another's sweater, thankfully causing no injuries. The mastermind behind the attack was accompanied by a crew of three other adolescents, a mix of boys and girls. One of the boys handed the torch to the attacker and flashed a concealed knife beneath his sweater. Another girl recorded the whole incident on her smartphone, adding to the sinister spectacle.
The attacker issued a chilling warning: a promise to return to the football field armed with a metal rod if the victims dared to report the incident. The attacker was described as a "Christian," around 15-16 years old, standing at 165 cm tall, and slim, with black curly hair.
