Fire up your political passions, young peeps! On February 6th, grab the mic at "Youth Speak, Bremen Votes" to chat it up with Bremen's top politicians before the early federal election. This ain't just about gathering info, it's about sharing your views and asking the tough questions.

Whether it's a state, federal, or European election, "Youth Speak, Bremen Votes" is all about creating a buzzing discussion scene where young Bremen residents meet the city's leading politicians, including those ahead of the early federal election.

Here are some of the political heavyweights joining the debate:

  • Doris Achelwilm (1st place on Bremen's state list – The Left / Direct candidate for constituency 54)
  • Kirsten Kappert-Gönther (1st place on Bremen's state list – Alliance 90/The Greens / Direct candidate for constituency 54)
  • Volker Redder (1st place on Bremen's state list – FDP / Direct candidate for constituency 54)
  • Sandra Schmull (2nd place on Bremen's state list – CDU / Direct candidate for constituency 55)

The event takes place on Thursday, February 6th, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Fröhlichs | Bremen Adult Education Center (Faulenstraße 69, 28195 Bremen). The evening will be hosted by moderator Sandra Lachmann.

Before and during "Youth Speak, Bremen Votes," the audience can share their own opinions and questions with the political guests, which will be incorporated into the discussion. The focus topics for the night are "Bundeswehr," "Education," and "Climate." Sound off early!

The event is a free show, but with limited seats, so prior registration is requested ([email protected]).

They're an association of youth organizations at the state level, fighting for the interests of young people from their 24 member organizations. They work closely with the Senate, Parliament, parties, and authorities, and help young people in Bremen express their political opinions and engage in various voluntary activities.

This year's "Youth Speak, Bremen Votes" event is happening in partnership with the Bremen Adult Education Center, the Naturschutzjugend Bremen (NAJU), the Jugend des Deutschen Alpenvereins Sektion Bremen (JDAV), the Youth Council Huchting, the Youth Forum Gröpelingen, the DGB Youth, the Overall Students' Representative Council Bremen (GSV), and the Bund der Pfadfinder und Pfadfinderinnen Landesverband Bremen.
