Young motorcyclists labeled as "posers" face criminal charges for causing burnout incidents
In the city of Paderborn, a 17-year-old motorcyclist found himself under investigation by the local police for allegedly driving a 125cc light motorcycle in a reckless manner.
On Monday evening, around 7:50 PM, a group of motorcyclists were seen heading towards the city centre. The police, patrolling the area, spotted a conspicuous rider near Neuhaeuser Street and Elsener Street. The rider was identified as a 'show-off' by the officers due to his aggressive and attention-seeking driving style.
The motorcyclist was observed performing 'burnouts' with the rear wheel of the small motorcycle at the Neuhaeuser Gate, where he had to stop at a red light. He also accelerated unusually fast when starting off again, keeping up with the other light motorcycles, despite his bike's size and class.
However, it was discovered that the motorcycle did not have a valid license plate. To add to the concerns, the rider was not in possession of a valid driver's license. To make matters worse, the rider had attached an invalid 2021 insurance plate from a 50cc motorcycle to his 125cc bike.
In response to this incident, a criminal investigation was initiated against the teenager. The police stopped the motorcyclist at the Heierswall, and his father was contacted to pick up both the motorcyclist and the motorcycle.
