The Traffic Light Coalition's Deception Unveiled

The SPD, the Greens, and the FDP began as Project Awakening, with a grand vision to create a greener, more prosperous Germany for everyone. However, it seemed too good to be true, with the traffic lights promising endless money and resources without a clear source of funding.

Millions of Germans bought into the dream.

The traffic lights promised abundance, and the people naively ignored the questions of where all the billions needed to make this dream a reality would come from. It was an appealing message, and the shiny new government seemed destined for success.

But now we know better. The Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck (Greens), and Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) have betrayed our trust by resorting to unconstitutional budget tricks to fund their extravagant plans.

The German dream was built on shaky foundations. The green, red, and yellow future was an unaffordable fantasy that the traffic lights clung to with stubborn determination, despite the harsh reality.

The CDU and CSU brought a halt to the ruling shadow bankers around Olaf Scholz with a historic lawsuit challenging this financial nonsense. The Federal Constitutional Court delivered a damning verdict that carried severe consequences for us all.

The consequences were indeed dramatic. But the silver lining was that our children and their children would not be forced to shoulder as much of the new debt. The traffic lights were not allowed to burden the next generations with their financial negligence.

The traffic light coalition's response to this verdict was immature and stubborn. They clung to their shattered dreams, unable to let go of their illusions of grandeur.

Just when things were looking up, Green Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Change, Robert Habeck, showcased his childishness by blaming the CDU and CSU for the failure of his unconstitutional welfare measures. It was a pathetic scene, akin to a father blaming the police for his family vacation going awry.

But Habeck was not alone in his foolishness. FDP Finance Minister Lindner also removed himself from blame, claiming that the previous CDU-led government had engaged in similar practices. It was a cowardly move, a convenient way to avoid accountability.

And leading the pack was Olaf Scholz, the chancellor at the helm of the traffic light coalition. He had first enabled the financial shadow economy, unlawfully profiting from it as finance minister in the Merkel government. He had assured us that money was not an issue, but his insistence on debt creation had led us to ruin.

A mea culpa or a show of remorse would have been appreciated, but there was none from Scholz. He remained silent, unwilling to accept his role in this disaster.

"It's not about you," the people cried. "It's about us: the citizens, our prosperity, our economy, and our jobs."

If the traffic light coalition was to continue governing, they had to stop burdening the welfare state, stop trying to save the world in Germany, and stop feeding the insatiable bureaucratic beast that was choking our economy. It was time to focus on their duty to the people, to put aside their dreams and take responsibility for their actions.

It was time to grow up.
