Yoshinobu Yamamoto Pitches Historic World Series Complete Game, Dave Roberts Faces Travel Challenges

Yoshinobu Yamamoto made history in the World Series last night, pitching a four-hitter for the first complete game since 2015. Meanwhile, Toronto Blue Jays' manager Dave Roberts faced travel challenges ahead of Game 3.

Yamamoto's impressive performance saw him allow only four hits in the game, which lasted 2 hours and 36 minutes. The last complete game in the World Series was pitched by Madison Bumgarner in 2015.

On the other side, Dave Roberts' preparation for Game 3 was disrupted by a flight delay. The Los Angeles Dodgers manager reached Dodger Stadium around 5 p.m., delayed after his flight was held up on the tarmac. Delta Air Lines was responsible for the delay. Roberts and his team had arrived in Los Angeles at around 4 a.m. following their Game 2 victory, which ended at 10:45 p.m. EDT (7:45 p.m. PDT).

Yamamoto's outstanding pitching has set a new mark in the World Series, while Roberts and the Dodgers will look to overcome the travel setback as they prepare for Game 3.
