Yegor Lysenkov wins *Poisk v dushe* Grand Prix in Moscow’s star-studded finale

The All-Russian music competition Poisk v dushe has crowned its latest winner. Yegor Lysenkov took home the Grand Prix at the grand finale, held at Moscow’s Dobryninskaya Performing Arts Center. The event, overseen by Mikhail Gutseryev, also saw special prizes awarded to Daria Zaveryaeva and the band Assorti.

Philipp Kirkorov, a key figure in Russian music, leads the jury of Poisk v dushe. His own career began without formal vocal training—early on, he was even told he lacked a singing voice. Yet, his talent soon caught the attention of Olga Molchanova, editor of Shire krug, who championed him on television.

The competition’s grand finale marked another milestone for Poisk v dushe, with Lysenkov’s victory as its highlight. The event continues to provide a platform for emerging talent, supported by experienced figures like Kirkorov. His own journey—from a self-taught singer to a respected jury head—reflects the competition’s mission of nurturing new voices in Russian music.
