Yakutsk's runway show dazzles global fashion experts with local talent

A recent Yakutsk runway show put local designers in the spotlight, drawing praise from international fashion experts. The event showcased collections from leading regional brands, including EIKIRIE, SGREY, and MARFA FEDOROVA. Foreign guests highlighted the skill of Yakut craftsmen and explored future partnerships.

The show attracted attention from prominent figures in the fashion industry. Elena Muhacir, founder of the Turkish jewellery brand Elena Muhacir, attended and later invited Yakut designers to take part in her international festivals. She has previously organised three major events in Turkey: the International Istanbul Fashion Festival, the International Cappadocia Fashion Festival, and the International Pergamon Fashion Festival. Additional festivals are planned for historic sites like Ephesos (2026) and Hierapolis.

Muhacir also proposed a joint project to develop collaborative jewellery collections with Yakut brands. Meanwhile, Ai Jimma, head of Chinese company **Evenki Sun Girl**, commended the quality of the presented works. She expressed strong interest in future collaborations with local designers. The event reinforced Yakutsk's growing reputation in the fashion world. Foreign experts noted the high standards of craftsmanship and creativity on display.

The runway show opened new opportunities for Yakut designers. International guests, including Muhacir and Ai Jimma, confirmed plans to work together on future projects. The event marked a step toward stronger ties between Yakut brands and the global fashion industry.
