Yakutsk's Road Network Set for Major Improvements Under 'BKD' Project
Yakutsk's road network is set for significant improvements under the national project 'BKD'. The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is responsible for constructing three additional road network objects, totaling over 2.6 km. Contracts for 16 out of 19 indicator objects, spanning 27.988 km, have been signed, with plans to add 5 more road network objects within the 'BKD' framework.
The total budget allocated for 2024 is 2,173.77 million rubles. By the end of 2024, over 80% of Yakutsk's roads are expected to be in a normative state. Key projects include the capital repair of ul. Melioratorov, mkr. Marha, and UDS in s. Syrdakh, with planned signing dates in March and May 2024, respectively. A procurement for the capital repair of ul. Ryndzinsky, a 0.528 km stretch, is underway, with a planned signing date of February 19, 2024. Negotiations and state examinations continue for the remaining indicator objects.
In 2023, approximately 30 kilometers of roads were repaired and built in Yakutsk's capital. In 2024, 19 indicator objects totaling 32.4 kilometers will be put into operation. Since the project's inception, around 164 kilometers of roads on 133 objects have been brought to a normative state.
The 'BKD' national project is transforming Yakutsk's road infrastructure. With a substantial budget and ambitious targets, the city aims to significantly improve its road network by the end of 2024.
