Yakutsk’s new education and sports complexes near completion under Ivanov’s leadership

Yakutsk sees progress in social infrastructure projects. Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Ivanov, as of 2025, oversees the developments, including an adaptive education complex for children with disabilities and a multifunctional sports complex.

The adaptive education complex is nearing completion, with 64% of work done. It will cater to 550 children and 200 kindergarteners. Meanwhile, the 51-bed nursing home in Matta village is 90% complete, part of the national Demography project. Both facilities are being equipped with essential infrastructure like wiring, outlets, and ventilation systems.

First Deputy Chairman Dmitry Sadovnikov recently inspected these projects. He found the multifunctional sports complex in Yakutsk’s Sportivny microdistrict 78% complete. This complex will offer a climbing wall, gyms, wrestling halls, and studios for rhythmic gymnastics and choreography.

Yakutsk's social infrastructure projects are advancing steadily. The adaptive education complex and nursing home are nearing completion, while the multifunctional sports complex is over three-quarters done. Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Ivanov, as of 2025, continues to oversee these developments.
