Yakutsk's Center for Families of World War II Participants welcomes heroic figures Nikolay Sobolev and submarine captain Sergei Piसарев, Russia's esteemed Hero and commander of the "Yakutsk" sub.
On September 15, Yakutsk, a city in eastern Siberia, welcomed two distinguished guests. Captain Third Rank Sergei Pisarev, commander of the Pacific Fleet submarine "Yakutsk", and Hero of Russia Nikolai Sobolev began their visit to the city.
Upon arrival, the guests were greeted by Deputy Mayors of Yakutsk, Vladimir Arzhakov and Yuri Petrov. The day's agenda included a series of important meetings, starting with Captain Third Rank Pisarev signing a cooperation agreement in the social and cultural spheres between the Yakutsk City Administration and the crew of the Pacific Fleet submarine "Yakutsk".
The Family Support Department of the Department of Public Relations and Youth Policy of the Yakutsk City Administration hosted Nikolai Sobolev, Anastasia Sobolev, and Captain Third Rank Pisarev. During the meeting, they discussed support measures for families of military personnel in Yakutsk, a topic close to the hearts of all three guests.
Nikolai Sobolev, a journalist before his involvement in the special military operation, is now a participant of the second stream of the presidential personnel program "Time of Heroes". His internship at the Yakutsk City Administration began on the same day.
Anastasia Sobolev, wife of the Hero of Russia, expressed the need for such centres throughout Russia, emphasising the importance of support for military families.
Later in the day, Captain Third Rank Pisarev met with Yakutsk Mayor Yevgeny Grigoryev to discuss various city matters. The Pacific Fleet submarine "Yakutsk", associated with one of the guests, was undoubtedly a topic of conversation.
The visit of these esteemed guests marks a significant moment for Yakutsk, bringing together the city administration and the military in a spirit of cooperation and support for the community.
