Yakutsk Offers 18 Heated Bus Stop Rentals, Permitting Sales

Yakutsk authorities have announced 18 tenders for renting out heated bus stops across the city. The sale of goods, both food and non-food, is permitted under certain conditions. Local activist Galina Dyakonova previously called for better management of these heated bus stops.

Applications for the tenders can be submitted from February 20-22 on the website torgi.gov.ru. The starting monthly rent price ranges from 6 to 8,600 rubles. However, the sale of excisable goods is prohibited in these heated bus stops.

The trading area in the rented heated bus stops should not exceed 50% of the total area. Moreover, 50% of the total area of the premises should be designated for passenger waiting areas. The sale of food products is possible, provided certain rules and conditions are observed. The sale of non-food goods and printed publications is also allowed.

Despite the tenders, there is no publicly available information about who registered for the rental of heated bus lanes in Yakutsk from February 20-22, nor where the tender documents are managed or accessible.

The 18 tenders for renting out heated bus stops in Yakutsk offer a range of opportunities for businesses, with clear guidelines on the sale of goods and use of space. The city aims to balance commercial activity with passenger comfort and safety.
