Yakutsk Celebrates Reunification: 200 Form '89' for Russian Unity

On September 30, 2023, a festive flash mob took place at the 'Dokhsun' sports complex in Yakutsk. The event, attended by around 200 people, celebrated the reunification of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions with Russia. It was part of the nationwide 'Thank you for being together' campaign.

More than 200 Yakutians participated in the event, forming the number 89 to symbolize the 89 regions of Russia. The event aimed to foster a sense of unity and patriotism among the youth. Aisen Ivanov, an instructor-methodologist, highlighted the importance of the event for the residents of Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR).

The event was a celebration of peace and harmony, helping young people develop a patriotic identity and appreciate the unity of the Russian Federation.
