Mironnoye, the industrial and diamond capital of Yakutia, is hosting its first "Mironnoye Attraction" festival. This two-day event, scheduled for March 29, is a cultural and sporting extravaganza designed to showcase the vibrant athletic and cultural life of the region.

The festival serves as a platform for exhibiting various sports popular in Yakutia, including winter sports, martial arts, and indigenous games. By promoting physical activity and encouraging youth participation, the festival aims to foster a healthy and active community.

Pavel Marynychov, the general director - chairman of the board of ALROSA, stated that the main goal of the festival is to show that they are not just working in Mironnoye, but also living. The festival opened with competitions in alpine skiing and snowboarding at the "Almaznaya Dolina" base. More than 70 athletes from various regions of the republic and different ages competed for a prize fund of 1.6 million rubles.

The Assembly of Peoples event, a part of the festival, features Buryat, Tatar-Bashkir, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Russian, and Yakut cuisines. Participants can immerse themselves in the cultures of different peoples through five senses.

The city of Mironnoye offers more than just sports and culture. With over 40 different sections, each costing only 100 rubles per month, the city provides conditions for active recreation. Alexei Tonkikh, the city's head, stated that Mironnoye has a rich and interesting cultural life.

Julia Dobrovольская, Director of the Center for the Development of Entrepreneurial and Public Initiatives, spoke about the Assembly of Peoples event. She emphasized that the festival continues to showcase the cultural life of Mironnoye, aiming to make the residents of Mironnoye and its guests feel comfortable and want to live and stay in the city.
