Yakutia Leader Marks 35th Anniversary with Live Q&A, Boosting Communication
Yakutia's leader, Aisen Nikolaev, marked the region's 35th anniversary with a live Q&A session, addressing residents' concerns and expanding communication channels.
The Q&A session, held in line with a federal directive, covered crucial national topics such as social benefits and urban infrastructure. It lasted nearly 3.5 hours, with Nikolaev answering almost 50 questions, including pressing social issues.
For the first time, the domestic messenger MAX was used alongside traditional social media for feedback, broadening the audience. Political scientist Darья Кислицына praised Yakutia's direct communication practice, stating it allows for a deep understanding of people's needs and informed policy adjustments.
The government is tasked with addressing questions not covered in the broadcast, with specific answers already provided or being worked on.
