Yakutia Boosts Local Brands with New Cooperation Program

Afanasy Savvin, General Director of the Yakutia Development Corporation, has announced a new program to boost local brands in Yakutia. The initiative aims to foster cooperation between regional enterprises and retail chains, both offline and online. The announcement was made during a direct line with Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 14, 2022.

The program, set to launch in 2023, will initially cover at least 30 Yakutian enterprises. Its primary goal is to help these local brands grow into larger companies. President Putin has tasked regional authorities to promote regional brands, including through the creation of such support programs. The initiative aims to establish partnerships between local brands and retail chains, as well as online marketplaces, to expand their reach and boost sales.

The Yakutia Development Corporation's new program, announced by Afanasy Savvin, is expected to provide a significant boost to local brands in Yakutia. By facilitating cooperation with retail chains and online marketplaces, the program aims to help these enterprises grow and expand their customer base.
