Oleg Fomin, last year's student champion, clinched another bronze in the 74 kg category, outsmarting Rasul Khamoyev from Dagestan with a tactical 3:1. Kharyshan Bappagay, representing a university from Vladikavkaz, grabbed the 125 kg category bronze with a nail-biting 5:3 victory over Emir Mutsolgov from Moscow.
