Yakutsk Mayor's Cup Horse Races Take Place in Yakutsk District
The Yakutsk Mayor's Cup Horse Races took place on June 29 at the Tynnaakhp hippodrome in the Us Khatin area of the City of Yakutsk district. The event was part of the Ysyakh Tuymaada-2024 festival.
The races were attended by 32 horses from 7 uluses: Megino-Kangalassky, Verkhneviluysky, Amginsky, Churapchinsky, Namsky, Suntarsky, and Neryungrinsky. The most prestigious 4800m distance was won by a Yakutian horse named "Cholbon" from Churapchinsky ulus.
