New Beneteau GT35 and GT40 Focus on Socializing and Comfort

Beneteau, a renowned name in the boating industry, has unveiled two new additions to its Gran Turismo sportscruiser range: the GT35 and GT40. These vessels prioritize socializing, comfort, and versatile layouts, aiming to offer "villa living on the water."

The Beneteau GT35 boasts a length overall (LOA) of 36 ft 9 in (11.2 m) and a beam of 15 ft 3 in (4.65 m). Its design features a flat, upright windshield and deep walkaround decks, providing ample space for outdoor entertaining. The interior layout is open-plan, featuring a C-shaped convertible dinette in the bow, and aft cabin options include twin or double beds separated by a heads (bathroom). Powering the GT35 is available only with twin outboard engines, from 300-350 hp Mercury Verados. Amenities include a proper outdoor galley replacing cramped wetbars, and face-to-face seating with folding tables. Optional extras include gyro stabilizers, solar-charged lithium AC power banks, and Alpine sportscar collaboration versions.

The Beneteau GT40, with more traditional styling, sports a raked windscreen and longer teardrop side windows. Inside, it offers a permanent double berth in the bow with a partition bulkhead for a separate cabin, and similar aft layout as the GT35. Power options include twin 400 hp Mercury outboards or 320 hp Yanmar diesel inboards. Like the GT35, it offers gyro stabilizers and solar power options, and Alpine versions are available with sportscar-inspired design elements. The GT40 also features curved L-shaped sofas with corners to tuck into.

Both models emphasize outdoor entertaining with spacious seating and dining areas, prioritizing social and family boating experiences.
