Xochimilco, Mexico City, hosts 'La Catrina on a Trajinera. The Challenge of the Dead', a unique theatrical event that immerses audiences in Mexican mysticism and folklore. The show celebrates life from the afterlife, paying homage to popular cultural legends like La Catrina, and takes place on a beautifully lit trajinera.

The story follows Frida Kalavera and Hueso Rivera as they interact with iconic figures from the other world, guided by the enigmatic La Catrina. The event begins with a 30-minute trajinera ride, accompanied by live mariachi music, local craft sales, Mexican snacks, and a monumental offering. Tickets are available on the Boletopolis website for shows on October 31, November 1, and 2 at 18:00 and 20:30 hours. General admission costs $500 pesos, while VIP tickets at $1,200 include a gourmet dinner, open bar, a gift, and preferential seating. The venue, Nativitas Dock, is located at Calle del Mercado 36A, Barrio San Jerónimo, and doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
