In a night filled with intense action and dramatic moments, WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 40 delivered an unforgettable spectacle for fans. The main event, a clash between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre, was particularly noteworthy, with Orton emerging victorious in an intense battle.

Accompanied by Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll, Orton faced off against McIntyre, who was joined by Logan Paul. The match was a rollercoaster ride of drama, interference, and post-match chaos.

During the match, Paul interfered, delivering a sucker punch to Orton after the bell. However, Jelly Roll intervened, blocking Paul’s punch and knocking him out of the ring. McIntyre took advantage of the situation, striking Jelly Roll with a brutal Claymore Kick.

A critical turning point came when Paul distracted Orton just before McIntyre delivered another Claymore Kick. Although the kick landed, Orton’s leg was on the bottom rope, saving him from a possible loss. This distraction allowed Orton to quickly recover and hit his signature RKO on McIntyre, securing the victory.

After the match, Paul attacked Orton again, but Jelly Roll came to Orton’s defence with a powerful forearm strike. In the ensuing chaos, McIntyre blindsided Jelly Roll with another Claymore Kick, escalating tensions further.

Outside of the main event, the night featured other notable moments. United States Champion Solo Sikoa successfully defended his title against Jimmy Uso, thanks to interference from MFT. A brawl between Jade Cargill and Naomi in the crowd also took place, leading to Bianca Belair being named the special guest referee for their upcoming No Holds Barred match.

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and Goldberg also took place, with Gunther retaining his title in a submission victory. Goldberg accidentally Speared referee Charles Robinson during the match, and Gunther used Goldberg’s own knee brace as a weapon.

LA Knight also had a successful night, defeating Seth Rollins in a grudge match. However, Rollins suffered an injury during the match, potentially involving a torn ACL, although this may be a red herring to mislead viewers about his Money in the Bank briefcase.

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 40 was broadcasted live and featured four matches in total: Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight, Solo Sikoa vs. Jimmy Uso for the WWE United States Championship, Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre, and Goldberg vs. Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The Orton vs. McIntyre match was undoubtedly the highlight of the night, with Jelly Roll’s ringside involvement, Logan Paul’s interference, the dramatic Claymore Kick moments, and Orton’s timely RKO finish, culminating in a post-match brawl that set up future confrontations.

The sports spectacle continued beyond the main event, as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match saw Gunther retain his title against a resilient Goldberg in a submission victory. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll made an impactful entrance during the main event, intervening to protect Randy Orton from Logan Paul's attacks.

In another significant turn of events, LA Knight emerged victorious over the injured Seth Rollins, who may have suffered a potentially serious knee injury during the match, raising speculation about his Money in the Bank briefcase status.
