The $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship
The 2025 WSOP $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship has concluded, with Qinghai Pan from the USA winning the event. Pan, who has multiple prior WSOP final tables and two online bracelet wins, took home the bracelet and a prize of $411,051. This was Pan’s first live WSOP bracelet.

Qinghai Pan held the chip lead since Day 2 and maintained it through to victory. Walter Chambers is currently in the lead in the event, while Shaun Deeb, who finished Day 1 in second place, has been eliminated.
The $1,000 Mini Main Event
The $1,000 Mini Main Event has attracted 10,794 players, double the 5,257 entries from last year. Unlike its 2024 version, which was a freezeout with only one starting day, players were allowed to enter once per starting flight in this year's event. Day 2 of the tournament is scheduled to play down to five players, awarding a significant portion of the $9,887,304 prize pool.
The $2,500 Mixed Big Bet Event
In the $2,500 Mixed Big Bet event, Aaron Kupin is currently leading. Notable players such as Jeff Madsen, Christopher Vitch, Steve Billirakis, Marco Johnson, and Shaun Deeb (before his elimination) are also in the running.
The $10K PLO Championship
The $10K PLO Championship features a field of 874 entries, guaranteeing a minimum payout of $182,983 for each player. As of now, Quan Zhou, Sean Rafael, Michael Wang (a two-time bracelet winner), Javier Francort, Michael Zulker, Melad Marji, and Alex Foxen are the final players in the tournament, with Foxen holding a short-stacked position. Alex Foxen finished Day 3 in this event.
Other Notable Wins
Outside the WSOP, Ian Pelz has won the $300 Gladiators of Poker, the second-largest live poker tournament ever held, with a prize of $420,680. The tournament broke its own record for the largest live poker tournament ever held.
Daniel Negreanu has had a successful WSOP 2025 so far, finishing in 9th place, 8th, 7th, and as the runner-up in various WSOP bracelet events. He is currently participating in the $2,500 Mixed Big Bet event.
