Wörwag Unveils Lagosa Triplex, a Science-Backed Natural Formula in April
Pharmaceutical company Wörwag is set to launch a new product, Lagosa Triplex, in April. The patented formula combines three natural ingredients and is based on what the firm describes as current scientific findings. This move comes as the company continues its steady growth over the past decade.
Founded in 1971, Wörwag expanded internationally in 1993. Today, it operates subsidiaries across Europe, Asia, and South America, including Poland, Kazakhstan, and Peru. The company has maintained stability despite regulatory hurdles and supply chain disruptions in recent years.
In 2025, Wörwag reported an 8% revenue increase, reaching €359 million. Its B12 Ankermann product also saw strong growth in Germany. The firm has doubled its business over the last ten years, supported by strategic acquisitions and facility upgrades.
Wörwag acquired production sites in Łódź (2021) and Pöcking (2023), later modernising both locations. To boost market presence, the company strengthened digital outreach, traditional advertising, and field sales efforts. Lagosa Triplex, the upcoming product, is promoted for its high bioavailability, though specific study details remain undisclosed.
The launch of Lagosa Triplex marks another step in Wörwag's expansion. With updated facilities and a growing international footprint, the company continues to build on its financial resilience. The product's release follows a period of steady revenue growth and operational upgrades.
