Worldline’s new platform unifies UK commerce with seamless payment solutions
Worldline, a leading European payment services provider, has launched its new unified commerce platform in the UK. Called Worldline One Commerce, the solution helps businesses streamline payments across all sales channels. It marks the first commercial rollout of the system, with plans to expand further in Europe.
The platform combines Worldline’s existing payment services into a single back-office system. Merchants gain better visibility of transactions, simplified operations, and more efficient daily management. Features include centralised reporting, compliance tools, and support for omnichannel services like Click & Collect, cross-channel returns, and subscriptions.
Motor Fuel Group (MFG) is among the first UK businesses to adopt the solution. The company has installed over 1,200 payment terminals across its Ultra-Rapid and Rapid EV charging network. This deployment unifies payment acceptance across MFG’s entire estate. David Gebhardt, Head of Enterprise at Worldline, highlighted the platform’s benefits. He described it as a unified foundation that simplifies operations while ensuring smooth customer experiences. The system also connects physical and digital payment channels, maintaining consistent performance and flexibility for merchants.
Worldline One Commerce is now available in the UK, with expansion into other European markets planned. The platform aims to help large retailers and service providers manage online payments more efficiently. By integrating online, mobile, in-store, and self-service transactions, it offers a centralised approach to modern commerce needs.
