Participating Teams
The 10 U.S. teams represent regions such as Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Mountain, New England, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, and West. The 10 International teams represent regions including Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe-Africa, Caribbean, and others[5].
Some of the participating teams include Clarendon Hills LL (Great Lakes, Illinois), Fairfield National LL (Metro, Connecticut), Tung-Yuan LL (Asia-Pacific, Taipei), and more[5].
Rules and Regulations
Games are six innings; if tied after six innings, a seventh inning is played normally. If still tied after seven innings, a special tiebreaker rule places a runner on second base each half-inning[4]. All players must be aged 10 to 12[4].
