Bayern Munich Goes Head-to-Head with Chelsea, Previous Winners of the Club World Cup in the Champions League - World champion Chelsea meets FC Bayern in a competition.

The UEFA Champions League and Europa League are back, and German football fans have plenty to look forward to this season.

The Champions League is set to start on Tuesday, with Borussia Dortmund taking on Juventus Turin in a thrilling opener that ended in a 4-4 draw. The live broadcast of this match, along with other nfl games, will be available on DAZN, with the exception of one Tuesday game per week. DAZN is the central rights holder in Germany for the Champions League.

Prime Video has also joined the fray, offering the option to choose one match per Tuesday. Some of the games they will be showing include Paris Saint-Germain against Bayern and Barcelona against Frankfurt.

In the UEFA Europa League, four German teams - VfB Stuttgart, SC Freiburg, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Bayer Leverkusen - will be representing the Bundesliga. VfB Stuttgart and SC Freiburg will be playing against Celta Vigo and FC Basel, respectively, on the 24th and 25th of September. RTL and RTL+ will broadcast these matches.

FSV Mainz 05, on the other hand, will be participating in the crazy games of the UEFA Conference League. The Conference League starts on Thursday, 2 October, with Mainz's game against Omonia Nikosia. RTL+ will also broadcast this match.

One exciting match in the Conference League is Eintracht Frankfurt against Galatasaray Istanbul, which will take place on Thursday. The live broadcast partner for FC Bayern München vs. FC Chelsea match in Austria is Canal+, which will show the game live and exclusively, while other Champions League matches are broadcast on Sky Sport Austria.

ZDF will summarise the games each Wednesday evening and broadcast the final live. Selected games from both competitions are also broadcast on linear free TV on RTL and RTL Nitro. All games from both competitions are shown on the paid streaming portal RTL+.

The UEFA Conference League has an exclusive matchday before Christmas on 18 December. The UEFA Europa League and the Conference League have a similar format, featuring only six group matches instead of eight.
