I started with RAISE, TOUCH, and FLUNG, which helped me decode the answer (TAFFY).

Yesterday's Wordle was fairly easy too. The hint was "often made of wood," and the answer contained four common letters and one somewhat common letter.
The answer for yesterday's Wordle was BOARD.
Wordle basics
The fundamental concept of Wordle is to uncover the day's secret word. Upon opening the Wordle game, you'll see an empty grid of letters waiting for your first move. It's up to you to take charge: type in any five-letter word.
Now, you can utilize the colors that are exposed to guide your guesses:
- Green indicates a correct letter in the correct position.
- Yellow signifies a correct letter but in the wrong position.
- Gray indicates a letter that is not in the solution word at all.
With this information in mind, keep guessing until you hit the target or run out of chances. You get six tries total.
The best starting words for Wordle
What word should you choose for your first guess? Words that carry common letters are usually great picks, as they increase the chances of landing yellow and green squares. Words like CRANE, TRACE, SLANT, CRATE, or CARTE are recommended starters. In an MIT analysis, the most effective picks for eliminating possibilities were found to be: SALET, REAST, TRACE, CRATE, and SLATE. Other strong options might be ARISE or ROUND. The goal is to build your strategy and take it from there!
Winning at Wordle
