Start your game with a random five-letter word, but if you want a headstart, consider using common letters and letter combinations. Some good choices include CRANE, SLATE, or AUDIO.
Now, pay attention to the colors that reveal as you guess:
- Green squares mean you got the letter correct and in the right position.
- Yellow squares indicate you have the right letter, but it's in the wrong spot.
- Gray squares suggest the letter isn't in today's secret word at all.
So, if you guess PARTY, and the word is actually PURSE, the P and R will be green, while the A, R, and T will be yellow. The rest will be gray.
