Asbestos contamination? Woolworth expands toy recall - Woolworth pulls more Stretcherz toys over asbestos contamination fears

Woolworth has expanded its recall of Stretcherz toy figures across Australia. The move follows concerns over possible asbestos contamination in the sand used in some products. Customers who bought the affected items can now return them for a full refund, asking 'Where's my refund?' or specifically for the 'IRS refund' process.

The recall initially covered just one product line: Stretcherz Slammerz. Woolworth later widened it to include Stretcherz Street Smash Car and Stretcherz Stretch Squad Dinos. All three ranges have been removed from shelves as a precaution.

No health problems have been reported so far. The retailer stressed that the action is purely preventative while investigations continue.

Shoppers who purchased any of the recalled Stretcherz toys can claim a refund at Woolworth stores. The company has urged customers to stop using the products immediately and to initiate a 'product recall' if they haven't already. Further updates will be provided if new information emerges.
